Carla tattooed this on Brad, she's amazing.

Brad's Tattoo Final.

I finished the design inked it up and coloured it using water colours I like how it turned out.

Hairy Horses.

I'm trying to design a tattoo within a time limit of roughly two weeks, my only parameter is it has to be an image fit to the lyrics of "The Last Continent" this is my first rough attempt, the lettering would be properly positioned and in a better font if this were to be final, it might also be in glorious colour. I ran out of room on my A4 page but the tattoo would continue after the last section of the lyrics, it's meant to fit on the lower leg somewhere (shin/calf).

HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW.

One of my favourite bands.

PINEAPPLE EXPRESS.

The faces didn't turn out all that good, but I like the postions.

MUSCLEMAN II.

My inspiration for this came from a Genghis Tron shirt, they called it muscle man.

Phantom Limb.

This is the album cover for the Pig Destroyer album Phantom Limb, another John Baizley artwork I was copying.

Baizley.

John Baizley is an amazing artist, he does artwork for a few hardcore and metal bands, and is in a pretty sweet band himself. I was just doodling to one of his artworks.

Fall Down, Never Get Up Again.

The title and content is based on a La Dispute song.

Dead and Breakfast.

'Dead and Breakfast' is a hilarious zombie spoof movie with an awesome narration style the drawing has nothing to do with the movie I just stole the title and wanted to try out different colours in the picture,

Lack of Posts

For a while I haven't posted anything, mainly because of final exams and I have also just moved out of home, but today I went and bought my own scanner so more drawings can be expected.

The P/Bomb.

For one of my courses at uni, I have to do the egg drop thing just about everyone has done in primary school, except this is worth 20% of my final grade. This is my groups design, it's indestructible, Peanut Butter woo!

Crystal Monster.

I'm going to try and illustrate the tracks from the electronic album I wrote. Destroyer of Mountains, refers to this fine fellow. He lives in Fire Crystal Kingdom and is the main protagonist of the album/game. He lives on the consumption of crystals and precious rocks, his insides are made of them. He has to destroy mountains to get to his precious bounty, hence the name. I'll try and do an illustration for each track. This drawing is just to introduce the idea.

My Eyes.

I was looking at a previous drawing, the double self portrait, and I realised how badly drawn it was. So this is more like what my eyes should look like, maybe I'll re draw the whole thing later.

FCKI||DESTROYER OF MOUNTAINS

I'm writing electronic sort of experimental music, it's all based on a fictitious video game 'Fire Crystal Kingdom,' I wrote the first album last year it is titled,'Destroyer of Mountains,' this is the cover for it. To listen to a few of the songs of the album go to: http://www.myspace.com/firecrystalkingdom.

Double Self Portrait.

This was a big flop of a drawing, the idea was to do a triple self portrait, one of me when I had a beard and long hair, the second when I was clean shaven and my hair was a bit shorter and the third when I was clean shaven and had a shaved head. I would be able to see my inconsistencies when drawing. It turns out I couldn't even get two right, I stuffed up the eyes on the first one so many times, but the second one is purposefully cross eyed.

PSYUS||SHIRT III

Another T-shirt design, after I finished this one I realised it was extremely similar to another band on our record labels shirts, oops.

PSYUS||SHIRT II

Another T-shirt design, this one was my favourite. The dancing bear would be located down in the bottom left of the front of the shirt, the inside of the bear would be black the writing would be the colour of the shirt.

PSYUS||SHIRT I

I was creating T-shirt designs for my band. Starring in this picture: A grotesque representation of our awesome drummer.

Toast Monster.

I was just doodling one day after playing a lot of Yoshi's Island, I forget what the little guys wearing hockey masks are called but I was drawing one of those with diamond teeth and it went on from there.

Hug Life.

If you type in 'hug life' in google images, you will see where I got this idea from...actually I just did that then and there are a few different pics, the one I'm referring to is the tattoo on the girls tummy where there are two cyclists with wings hugging. Much better than the stupid generic gangsta tattoo 'thug life.' It's a shame this picture went over two pages and I'm not sure where the other page went, that's why it seems cut off on the left side.

Edinburgh Hostel.

Last year I took a gap year and travelled Europe for a few months, I drew this in a relatively nice and clean hostel in Edinburgh.

Vampire Prototype II

This was one of the earlier drawings for designing my vampire tattoo.

Werewolf Protoype I

This was my first attempt at creating my werewolf tattoo, it is slightly less menacing and has a business-men like quality to it.

Vampire Tattoo.

I also drew up this picture for a tattoo for myself, it is residing on the whole of my left thigh. It is the ying to the werewolf's yang, the vampire represents everything that I enjoy and that makes me happy, he's riding a bmx and listening , or you could say playing, music. He has a huge cape representing my love for comics and the style of the picture is a line drawing, which represents my love for drawing.

Werewolf Tattoo.

This is a tattoo i drew up for myself, it is now living happily on my right thigh, it takes up the entire front of my thigh.
I used to have a recurring nightmare when i was younger where a huge wolf walking on it's back legs, would come and collect rent, that's why in the drawing it's holding the house with people stuck inside. For payment it would eat parts of the people living in the house each week, this wolf resembled the wolf from the Roald Dahl novel 'Revolting Rhymes'.

sketches.

Trying to draw a very pretty girl, once again it didn't work out as planned, but I still like it.

HIGHWAY||PILOT.

This is meant to be a character from an awesome movie I saw the other night pretty late on TV, Highway. If you can't tell the actor is Jake Gyllenhaal, he plays a strange young adult who is on the run with his best mate from a rich and powerful man. They have lots of adventures along the way, if I can remember correctly it takes inspiration from Jack Kerouac's "On the Road."

500DAYSOFSUMMER||TOM.

I think that Joseph Gordon-Levitt has quite an interesting face, I didn't really capture what I wanted but I still like the drawing.

For Myself.

I had an idea for a tattoo for myself, I wanted a whole heap of brightly coloured ghosts to be widing up my arm as 3/4 sleeve. I still haven't been able to draw it how I want it in my head but this is the basic idea.

Tattoo Design

One of my friends wanted a tattoo that had a bit of horror and gore, I also incorporated lyrics from one of our favourite bands. He got it tattooed onto his shin about a week ago, one day I'll get around to taking a photo of it and posting it as well.

Hey, what's up new blog.

I found that my heart wasn't particularly into writing and drawing the 'waitersss' comics. This new blog I'm just going to upload drawings, so instead of finding them a couple of months after I draw them then throwing them out, I will have a semi organised collection of stuff I have done that I can look back on. That's the idea, but I can see myself getting lazy, what with study and stuff so I'm not going to force myself to update regularly, with any luck that'll come naturally.
