Holiday Haiku part I.

Sticky heat
feel the cicadas song
a bell birds call.


Fresh cut grass
petrol runs dry
summer smell.


nocturnal gathering
scratches climb walls
insects.

The Pen and The Pencil.

The table lies in disarray,
silence clings to the unruly mess.

The pencil whispers to the pen,
"I can't live under this amount of stress,"

"I remember when I was creative,
when every curve meant so much."

"Now I drag on with on feeling,
falling hopelessly out of touch."

"You're lucky my silent friend,
sometimes I wish I could run dry."

To this, and ever after,
the pen offered no reply.

Distraction Food.

A chip sandwich
requires very little hunting or gathering.

This simple comfort
offers enough distraction
to complete another chapter.

Study.

Two more paragraphs,
becomes three more pages.

I'd like to say they float on by,
but they stretch forward
like a highway of broken glass.

Sleep is like a service station
that won't sell me any shoes.

Finals.

The leaves shimmer
as the car park grips me like a vice.
Never have I been so cold,

Lions Tiger and Bears, Oh My!

I'm almost certain this is what I want to get as a piece for my left arm. I thought it would be an awesome idea to have a bunch of really brutal animals together just hanging out, my first idea was a mass of lions. I progressed and decided to do lions, tigers and bears, to start off with I also wanted lyrics that I really like "I'm not homesick, I'm just so sick, of going home" but then I changed my mind again, I included an Oz theme (hence the flying monkeys) which makes the lyrics fit, but then I realized the obvious "there's no place like home" fit beautifully and it is a much nicer sentiment. I want to have vibrant colours as well, that's why the bear is blue.

One of the few pictures I drew in calculus, I had to pay attention in this class.

I gave one of my friends a few starting points and she had to write a story from them, the story was about Gabba Gabba the purple midget orangutan. This was created in our algebra lectures.

While staying in a pretty dodgy hotel in Toulouse, France, we figured out it had fast free internet so we downloaded episodes of Doctor Who to watch.

Fish Tank Layout I

I have just cleaned out my fish tank and arranged all of their rocks, plants and driftwood in one of the three different arrangements I usually make for them. I'm going to draw the different arrangements and label all the different spots the fish like to hang out and what they like to do at their spots. This is the first.

I have been trying to get youth allowance from 'Centerlink' for quite a while now as I'm studying full time living and living out of home. They make everything soooo difficult, they've sent me away with the wrong information four times now, I finally have everything lined up properly and I have to wait close to four months for them to decide on my claim. Not impressed.

175 Ghosts.

This picture was continuing from the idea I had ages ago, I think it was the third thing I posted. Where the bluey greeny looking ghosts start that would be starting at the inside of my elbow and traveling up my upper arm. the big loop part would be the outer part and the underneath of my upper arm. The smaller red and yellow loop would be on my shoulder.

Owl.

This is a tattoo design for my girlfriends mum, she wanted the picture to contain an owl and roses.

It's a big blue whale full of love. The title is the name of a Foals song of the album Antidotes.

Cruel Bloom.

A friend asked me to draw a filthy Medusa type lady with heaps of cigarettes coming out of her head instead of snakes, I hate cigarettes and couldn't draw the picture very well at all. Instead I drew a filthy Medusa type lady with heaps of flowers blooming out of her head, the title is "Cruel Bloom" a song from the album Axe To Fall by Converge who are coming to Australia in March woo!

This is from when I was staying in Florence, we're playing "Nutball", I'm at a great disadvantage as I'm the only one playing that has nuts.
